Digital receipts are instantly available to customers by simply scanning a QR code with their smartphones. Something we are all used to doing which allows us to retain access to our documents at all times and complete purchases in a matter of seconds.
LESS PAPER, LOWER COSTS
Thanks to the digital receipt, the use of carbonless copy paper is drastically reduced, thus saving money and helping the environment. Carbonless copy paper, used to print receipts, cannot be recycled and has to be disposed of with general waste.
SAME VALIDITY AS PAPER RECEIPTS
With digital receipts, customers can duly claim tax deductions, use them as proof of purchase for warranty claims in the purchase of a product or service, and to record expense reports.
HOW IT WORKS
Just a few simple steps to obtain the digital receipt:
Customers can use their smartphones to scan the QR CODE on the IQ POS or IQ Display 9″, on Nano and on self-ordering devices and instantly view their digital receipt.
They can save it with their documents and print it later, if necessary.
VIEW THE QR CODE WITH THE NANO HANDHELD DEVICE
You can view the qr code with the Nano handheld device when the payment is made at the table. Once the waiter has completed the transaction, he/she can recall the bill on the handheld device, display the QR CODE and get the customer to scan it, without having to go back to the cash register every time
WHY IS LABWARE’S DIGITAL RECEIPT EVEN SMARTER?
- Thanks to 4PAY, Labware’s payment management service, the direct link to the digital receipt is obtained once the payment has been successfully made with Apple Pay, Google Pay or a credit card.
- The direct link to the digital receipt will also be sent for orders made on 4Order as soon as the delivery or pick-up has been completed.
- You can print the digital sales document later from the “Latest bills” page of BasIQ or MagIQ
- BasIQ or MagIQ users can integrate the digital receipt with no additional costs
- To obtain the digital receipt, customers don’t need to download an app or complete registration by providing their email address
