Electronic invoicing for bars and restaurants

Legislative Decree No. 127 of August 5, 2015 extended the electronic invoicing obligation, already introduced in public administrations, to all businesses, companies and professionals. So from January 1, 2019, bars and restaurants will also have to be ready to issue electronic invoices.

An electronic invoice is a document that is created in digital form and is transmitted and stored exclusively in digital mode. To be in compliance, such a document must be generated in the “XML” format according to some specific parameters and must be transmitted to the Interchange System (Sdi) of the Internal Revenue Service, preferably with a digital signature affixed.

Labware offers bars, restaurants, stores, etc., a quick and complete solution for electronic invoicing as required by regulations, a solution that is effortless because it is integrated directly into Labware's 4CloudOffice system without the need for external software.
In fact, the electronic invoice is created directly from the backoffice management system in XML format in compliance with the regulations. It is then sent to our AgID-accredited Partner's platform, which affixes the digital signature to it and sends it to the Interchange System and the customer. The restaurant manager then does not have to worry about anything and will issue the invoice as usual.

As required by regulations, our partner, recognized as an AgID Accredited Registrar, also handles the digital storage of electronic invoices for 10 years.

With the Labware system, you can then easily and effortlessly manage the entire electronic invoicing active cycle because it automatically initiates from the back office the entire process as required by the regulations:
- Compilation of electronic invoice in XML format;
- Digital signature;
- Sending to SDI (interchange system);
- Notification management;
- Delivery of the document to the receiving party;
- Retention of the document for 10 years.
