In compliance with Telematic Recorder and Receipt Lottery

The obligation to send daily receipts electronically and to adapt the cash register for compatibility with the Lottery of Receipts has slipped a few more months: merchants' trade associations have requested a further extension because of the difficulties that businesses are experiencing due to the effects of the pandemic.
So with Order No. 83884 of March 30, the Internal Revenue Service has given more time to restaurants, traders, professionals, shopkeepers, and merchants who have not yet updated their cash registers.

The requirement for electronic storage and telematic transmission of daily receipts has been extended to the October 1, 2021: from this date, only the new telematic layout of daily fee data should be used “DATA TYPES FOR CORRESPONDENTS - version 7.0 - June 2020”, for which telematic recorders need to be adapted.

There is also time until Oct. 1 to adjust the checkout system for participation in the Receipt Lottery.
For the merchant to participate in the lottery is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. In fact, a purchaser who is denied the ability to pay with electronic payment methods or who does not have the lottery code read by a merchant where he or she has made purchases can report the point of sale on the official Ticket Lottery Portal and notify the Internal Revenue Service.

Merchants and restaurateurs can then take advantage of this extension to come into compliance without incurring penalties, but there are only a few months!
