Legislative Decree No. 127 of August 5, 2015 extended the electronic invoicing obligation, already introduced in public administrations, to all businesses, companies and professionals. So from January 1, 2019, bars and restaurants will also have to be ready to issue electronic invoices.<\/p>\n
An electronic invoice is a document that is created in digital form and is transmitted and stored exclusively in digital mode. To be in compliance, such a document must be generated in the \u201cXML\u201d format according to some specific parameters and must be transmitted to the Interchange System (Sdi) of the Internal Revenue Service, preferably with a digital signature affixed.<\/p>\n
