International Business Developer

Business development managers are concerned with improving and growing the business, by establishing and developing relationships with customers, suppliers, and other partners
We’re seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. As the ideal candidate you will identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help our business grow. Your work involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the market, as well as enhancing the operations, the positioning or simply the reputation of the business.     IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: Establish and grow a distribution and reseller network with a specific focus on the United Kingdom and Spain but also other countries and markets as Main Goal.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Develop a specific business plan for the United Kingdom and Spain.
  • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • Foster and develop relationships with customers/partners
  • Understand the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think and work  strategically
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
  • Formulate, discuss, and implement promotional strategies and activities
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the market
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
  • Execute with discipline
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
  • Solid knowledge and several years of experience in international B2B Sales or Business Development in the reference markets (hospitality & retail) with a strong business acumen
  • Working experience and knowledge of the UK and Spanish markets
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver presentations
  • Analytical and problem-solving attitude
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Focus on efficiency and time management
  • Open minded, enthusiastic and curios
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken)
  • Experience with CRM software and other role related solutions
  • Bachelor or master’s degree would be an advantage
